Senior police officials said that at around 1.50 pm on Sunday afternoon, information was about to run out of oxygen at Sonia Hospital Nangloi. The truck carrying oxygen to them has deteriorated near Udyog Vihar metro station. At that time 70 Kovid patients were admitted to the hospital.
As soon as the information was received, a team of Paschim Vihar West Police Station was immediately dispatched to the spot. ASI Suresh and Sri Bhagwan arrived at the scene carrying an ERV Gypsy. There was no time to pull the crane and pull the truck. In such a situation, the two soldiers decided to pull the truck from the gypsy. Although people also opposed it, both took risks. The truck was tied to a gypsy and it was dragged about three and a half kilometers and rushed to the hospital on time. The truck contained 3.88 cubic Metrus liquid medical oxygen.
