New telescope will be 100 times stronger than Hubble
The power of the Hubble telescope currently active in space will be next to this new James Webb Space Telescope. This will increase the reach of humans in space many times more. With the help of this telescope, scientists will be able to see millions of kilometers away. However, many scientists have also expressed fear over this telescope.
Scientists afraid of NASA’s new telescope
This powerful telescope of NASA has led some scientists to fear that it may disturb the aliens of space. They are as yet unaware of our existence and probably will not adapt to the earth. String theorist Michio Kaku said in a conversation with the Observer that the new telescope will give people the power to see thousands of planets, but we should think carefully about reaching their inhabitants.
Kaku said that soon the James Webb telescope will be in the orbit of our earth and we will have thousands of planets to see. So, I think it is quite likely that we can make contact with a foreign civilization. I have some colleagues who believe that we should reach them. I think this is a terrible idea. NASA’s new telescope will orbit the Earth about 1.5 million kilometers from Earth.
NASA will launch telescope by May 2022
The telescope is planned to be launched by May 2022. It would be 100 times more powerful than Hubble and scan thousands of possible planets for signs of life in space. This will enable NASA researchers to look at the origin of the universe and discover planets.
