The Health Minister said that the Delhi government would soon create a micro containment zone in the national capital to check the spread of corona virus. He appealed to the patients who won the war from Corona to come forward and save people’s lives by donating plasma.
At the same time, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to PM Modi requesting to relax the conditions for opening a new vaccination center. It has also appealed for relaxation in age limit for vaccination and making it available to all.
CM Kejriwal wrote in the letter that if the conditions for opening new vaccination centers were relaxed and vaccinations were allowed for all, then the Delhi government would be able to vaccinate all the citizens of Delhi within three months.
In view of the increasing cases of infection in Delhi, the government has increased the capacity of beds for corona patients by 10% in private hospitals. Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the number of beds in private hospitals has been increased from 15 to 25 percent.
At the same time, the corona investigation is also being done five times more than in other states. Jain said that people living in congested areas are at higher risk of infection. He urged people to get maximum number of vaccines and follow the Kovid protocol.
He said that the situation is under control due to infection. Corona has an infection rate of 4.11 percent in the capital, much lower than other affected states. The Health Minister said that the Delhi government has also issued a helpline number 87505 for the corona test.
