Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement by holding a press conference in the capital of the country amidst the corona virus crisis. Arvind Kejriwal has announced that there are 72 lakh ration card holders in Delhi.
Delhi government will give ration to all of them for two months for free. Apart from this, all the auto drivers and taxi drivers in Delhi will give assistance of five thousand rupees to all of them. In such a situation, about one and a half lakh auto and taxi drivers will benefit in Delhi.
The Chief Minister of Delhi said that the Delhi government will help all the auto and taxi drivers by giving them 5,000 rupees so that they can get some help in this financial crisis.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that free ration for two months does not mean that the lockdown will last for two months. This is being done only to help the poor going through financial issues.
